Marenzo Motorsports driver Mario Carini continued his impressive 2026 SCCA Touring 4 (T4) campaign with a dominant performance at the legendary June Sprints at Road America, earning two pole positions and two race victories in the team’s #43- 2004 BMW Z4.

Carini opened the 2026 season with a strong showing at Blackhawk Farms Raceway, collecting two second-place finishes and establishing himself as an early championship contender. The momentum carried into Road America, where he delivered the most significant weekend of his young racing career.

Hard Work Breeds Success

Competing against some of the nation’s top Touring 4 drivers, Carini showcased exceptional speed and consistency throughout the June Sprints weekend. After securing pole position for both races, he converted those starting spots into two commanding victories, sweeping the weekend at one of North America’s most iconic road courses.

“The June Sprints has always been one of the most prestigious events in SCCA racing, and to come away with two poles and two wins is incredibly special,” said Carini. “This success is a testament to the hard work of everyone at Marenzo Motorsports and the support of our sponsors, family, and fans.”

Upcoming CAT National at Road America

The team credits its success to the dedication of its crew and the support of valued partners including Palermo’s Screamin’ Sicilian Pizza, Marenzo Construction Group, and Joey Carini Real Estate.

With momentum firmly on his side, Carini now turns his attention to the CAT National at Road America on July 25–26, 2026, where he hopes to continue his winning form and further strengthen his position among the nation’s top T4 competitors.

Beyond July, the ultimate goal remains clear: capturing the SCCA National Championship at the Runoffs, which will also be contested at Road America later this season. Having already demonstrated race-winning speed at the famed four-mile circuit, Carini and Marenzo Motorsports are focused on preparing for what promises to be the most important event of the year.

As the 2026 season progresses, Mario Carini continues to establish himself as one of the rising talents in SCCA Touring 4 competition, carrying the Marenzo Motorsports banner into each event with determination, professionalism, and championship aspirations.
